Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures has been chosen as one of "West Michigan's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" for the 13th year in a row by Michigan's Business & Professional Association.

The 101 Best and Brightest awards are presented by the Michigan Business & Professional Association (MBPA), which recognizes companies for strategies they use to create the best human resource practices for their employees.

"Our company strives to offer our employees a safe and progressive workplace. Winning this award for the 13th year in a row proves that Stahlin is a company that continues to meet the high standards required to win this award," stated Jeff Seagle, president of Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures.

The process for determining the 101 best companies is threefold.
First, individuals nominate companies; secondly, the human resources manager of each nominated company is contacted and asked to complete an extensive survey; and thirdly, the company's employees are randomly selected to complete an extensive survey about their work environment.

An independent market research firm employed by Michigan's Business & Professional Association examines each application statistically for both quantitative and qualitative data that is then submitted to the panel of judges. The data includes information on the company's achievements in all of these areas: Communication, Community Initiatives, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity and Multiculturalism, Employee Education and Development Employee Engagement and Commitment, Recognition and Retention, Recruitment and Selection and Work-Life Balance. Companies with the highest points are selected as winners.
